The Whitby High School Battlefields TripsIn recent years The Whitby High School has regularly taken part in visits to the Western Front Battlefields of World War One. As well as being a rewarding visit, it also ties in with work being studied at GCSE and A Level. Accompanying staff have a very good knowledge and expertise of the period and the sites themselves, so much so that they take on the role of guides for the visit |
