BBC WW2 History - Farndon Memories

Liam Royden - Winner of Chester's Got Talent 2010

Winner of Chester's Got Talent 2010, up and coming Farndon musician, Liam Royden can be seen regularly playing at local venues such as Telford's Warehouse in Chester, Alexander's Bar or playing with fellow musicians entertaining the crowds in Eastgate on Saturday afternoons. His band Eastgate have just released a 7 track CD recently showcased at their storming performance at the OsFest in Oswestry. Little Churtons, Farndon

Tucked into the beautiful, historical Top Farm on the High Street, this is a small friendly restaurant in Farndon with a garden area serving good value homemade food. They are open Tuesday-Friday for Lunch, (see their Lunchtime Specials Menu) and Tuesday to Saturday for Dinner. Bookings are taken - contact details available on the website. Thomas Monahan - Wild Life Artist and Musician

Tom is a self-taught artist and musician working in his own studio "The Artist Rest" in the small Cheshire village of Farndon on the border of England and Wales in a 18th century cottage, close to the Roman City of Chester. Tom works in all mediums, paint, photography, digital, video, music. Prints and greeting cards also available through his site, plus his latest CD releases.


Border Art Gallery - paintings by Geoff Sherman

Geoff's interest in art started at an early age whilst still at school in north London but art took a back seat as he devoted his time to his family and his career as a civil engineer. Now based in Farndon, Geoff's gallery boasts many landscape scenes from home and abroad. He works in several mediums including watercolour, acrylics and pastels as well as pen and wash and there are galleries devoted to each medium. He has also included some extracts from his sketchbooks which illustrate the basis of his paintings.
